I guess I should check if my trailers bumper is magnetic or not before I buy one.I have a wireless solar powered magnetic camera.
But our new TT is made "light" by being plastic and aluminum.
Can't win 'em all I guess.

Just checked and my bumper is magnetic so a rear camera will work for me!True, if the brochure is boasting of it's lightweight aluminum frame your chances of a magnetic bumper are slender. But it might stick on the top of the plate holder... though also you can get a clamp on hitch mount and stick it to that if you really want. I have a spare tire carrier like that salvaged off an older trailer that might fit the bill if I needed.
I bought them on Amazon.Do you have a link to those mirror extensions? Did they work ok and is your trailer 8 foot wide?
Thanks! Just ordered them. I think between those and the wireless rear view camera https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DWK8P5B...F37IPTFBN&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1I bought them on Amazon.
Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal Clip-on Trailer Towing Mirror
They work great.
Nice to hear you have a bumper.Just checked and my bumper is magnetic so a rear camera will work for me!
Do you leave it on all the time or just push the button when you want to see behind you? I can see leaving it on forever and putting it down low so I can just look down and see behind me.I use a wireless backup camera for towing. The camera is NOT wired to reverse lights so it works other than reverse and the monitor is a cigarette lighter power cord win an on-off switch that allows me to see what's behind me at the push of a button.
This is the one I'm going with. It has an option to stay on forever. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DWK8P5B...FBN&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1Do you leave it on all the time or just push the button when you want to see behind you? I mostly have it on but will click it off at night on occasion.Do you leave it on all the time or just push the button when you want to see behind you? I can see leaving it on forever and putting it down low so I can just look down and see behind me.
You do not need a new hitch but a trailer jack that pivots 90° while attached to your truck.....What does your hitch look like? I need a new hitch as the one on there now, the jack scrapes my driveway when I have my trailer attached.
Easier first step: try putting the ball holder in upside down. If you have a slight drop, make it a slight rise. You do not need a new hitch but a trailer jack that pivots 90° while attached to your truck.....

Thanks for mentioning that! I am really looking into one of those now, too. It can just fit a small race car that I can take to tracks. The wet bath should work just fine if I sit down to shower and there are models with a rear door deck kit and awning for some shade. My old truck would probably get me single digit mpg towing something like that, so if my '25 Lariat Hybrid can get me 15 mpg or better, I would be coming out way ahead on towing costs. Thanks a lot for the pictures. Was wondering what it looks like to tow one of these trailers. Looking into the Sunlite 14THX right now which is a small toy hauler with tilt out bed, small bathroom and a murphy bed. Comes in at 2600 lbs.
