There is not a rail system that goes to Santa Fe NM, If your truck in in Santa Fe it could be a long time getting to you!

If your truck is in Santa FE NM it is not traveling by rail. You should be concerned.
This close up of the BNSF map does show that the train does get near Santa FE NM. Maybe the updates just use the nearest city for status updates.

Here is BNSF map. There is not a rail system that goes to Santa Fe NM, If your truck in in Santa Fe it could be a long time getting to you!

Mine is still in Tucson AZ since it arrived yesterday Dec 2nd @ 8:18 AM.

What is the Destination/ETA for arrival that UP stated?

Mine gave a cryptic response of: Destination Industry Dec 11th @7:57 AM

Not sure why mine will take 9 days to get from Tucson AZ to Dallas TX as you could drive that distance in a day.

Destination Industry : UP has intermodal terminal in Industry Ca (Los Angeles). Maybe they are going to hand off the rail car to CSX or ? Or might put on truck for Dallas??? Who knows? But looks like it goes to industry,ca first!

Trains run from Santa Fe to Chicago.
Trains run do run through NM to Chicago but those trains go through the Belen cutoff east and west thru Amarillo, Tx., not Santa Fe proper. Amtrak runs thru Lamy, NM east and west. The AT&SF operated the spur line from Lamy to Santa Fe until selling it to locally-owned Santa Fe Southern in 1992. No freight service to Santa Fe, NM. BNSF sold the freight line from Belen, NM to Trinidad Colorado in 2005 but did retain freight rights. They do run freight traffic to west from Belen to Dales junction and has a line north to Albuquerque. BNSF sends no freight north of Albuquerque to Santa Fe or Trinidad. They do in fact have a automobile unloading facility in Albuquerque but can get it a lot closer to Chicago. The closest "trains" get to Santa Fe is Lamy but they are no longer freight trains.

Mine stayed for a few days. They probably are waiting for a full train to maximize profit
Yes they can stack 2 or more trains end to end with engines iin center of train linked to lead engines and when get to a location they can drop first 50 or so cars pickup some to add for next stop with the center engines holding brakes for cars left on main track or preferably siding.. the total length of train can increase to length of shortest siding on line traveled with some trains longer than 9,000 feet long. A train crew can be 3 total.

Yeah there is a small split rail near me where they will stack cars up to be picked up later.

Yeah there is a small split rail near me where they will stack cars up to be picked up later.
Went to Amarillo Thanksgiving and WNW of Sweetwater Texas there were oil tanker cars parked 2 and 3 tracks deep for 3-4 miles not being used....

I was working for someone about 2014 that was buying oil tanker rail cars 225 for $861,000 each. (Almost talking REAL money!).

Just a footnote I grew up near Galesburg Illinois and its a BNSF hub with 100+ trains a day going through town. I have no clue how many Mavericks on board.
