I received the vin number in about a week. My build date is the first week of December. Anyone have any idea then on an approximate delivery date to dealership? I know they're made in Mexico, I live in Maine. Thanks

I'm crushed!! My 26 Mav has been "In Production" since 11/20/25. The notice got me all excited that I was ahead of schedule for my "Built" date of the 1st week of December. Today I received an email saying that "We’ve made great progress on your new Ford vehicle but have unfortunately experienced unexpected delays." and a text that says "Your Maverick is almost built, but is taking longer than estimated". Hmm, "almost built", what can it be?Supply chain problems? Missing some circuit board or chip from overseas? Thought I read the Mavs have aluminum hoods. Wondering if those could be behind schedule because of the aluminum plant fire.

Crap shoot. I had one that took 5 weeks and one that took 6 days. To Northern Illinois.

Thanks all for the input. It seems like more Mavericks are available on the lots. My hope is Ford won't be behind schedule. Most likely this will be my 1st and last custom ordered vehicle...haha, at my age it could be my last vehicle period.

If the build week is the first week of December, I would guess you will receive a Shipped date very soon there after as in mid December. With the holidays, I would think a Delivery date toward the end of January considering the distance. Winter weather and other factors may influence too.

I placed my order just after Independence Day '25, drove it home early Sept, a week or two earlier than I expected it (25 XL hybrid AWD).
Please post some pictures when you get it. I'm curious about Azure grey vs Carbon grey.

Yes, MSRP seems to be the purchase price though I am challenging the dealership to get me some type of credit. A long shot but I'm trying.

I ordered my 2026 maverick on Sept 3rd I received notice today it was built with a
Delivery date of December 3rd-9th. Is that time frame about right for 2026 model.

26 MY buyers. It may not make any difference to some dealers, but
Granger Ford is listing some 26's, coming soon. Their asking price appears to be the 3% below invoice that they talk about. I would take along a copy of their listings and ask for a couple of percent off MSRP. No harm asking.

If they do not want to come off any, I would consider giving them my phone number and tell them to call me when they decide they can give a little bit off. If they do not call in a few days, you can always go back with your tail tucked between your legs and pay MSRP.

Might also mention that Granger only charges a $180 Doc fee...........

My fleet order was accepted 10/30, received my VIN 11/13 and received a build date this morning of 1/5/26.

It means your Mav is being assembled presently. When it's built it will be waiting to be loaded and then loaded and then shipped to a yard then the dealer where they will spend a day or two preparing it for you. That's the short story.
