Is BAP Mandatory on XLT Lux 4K tow with Azure Gray?

Hmmm... The salesman supposedly checked Tuesday and said it couldn't be done, and said he might try again Wednesday but I didn't hear anything back.

I would have heard something if it was scheduled by now right? I haven't seen any emails showing any updates yet. Should get my second "45 Day" email here next week I think.

Definitely not a 23 order just ordered 24 mid-September.

I really do appreciate all of the info and help and I may just have to reach out to you if I don't hear back soon. It's not the end of the world if I were to get the BAP, it does look good, but I don't need it, and I could put that $1645 into other more practical improvements to the truck.

What bothers me most is them either being deceiving or just not really trying... It's just bizarre to me.

Did check with them again and after explaining what everybody else is saying (I even called Ford directly to confirm that it should be no problem to get the order changed) and asking for the salesman's manager's name and number - I got word back that they can remove the BAP. I'll keep pressing for an actual picture or email confirmation of that change, but I think it should be good to go.
