Did you install brembo brakes on your truck ?

Yes, volvo s60r/v70r, and I believe they are the same calipers as 06-07 STI calipers.

Just adding a small update. A long time ago when I installed my fuel pump and adjustable fuel pressure regulator, I could never fill my tank all the way up after that. Come to find out, when installing the ring that holds the fuel basket in place, I didn't get the ring seated correctly. The weird thing about our gas tanks is that roughly 5 gallons are located above the fuel basket ring! I'm surprised they would do it this way, but long story short, I filled my tank full for the first time in roughly 2 years! Lol

Gonna start the install on the Corsair turbo, plugs and HPFP in 2 weeks. Any advice? Super excited! @Dueces

Just give yourself plenty of time. I think if you remove the transfer case, you will have to grind an unused threaded boss off for it to come out. I didn't remove it, but doing so saves a ton of headache and gives better access.

Is your corsair turbo upsated with a better compressor wheel?

No, didn’t do the stage 4 set up. Wanted to see what it does without. Not gonna go full bore. Still an everyday driver

@Dueces Truck is in shop as of Friday. Hopefully done today. They pulled the engine from the subframe and they were working it. Will keep you up to date soon.

Yes! HPFP and Corsair turbo went in. Truck ran good but with tuning, we were running outta injector so I decided to purchase the injectors from norstrum as well (should’ve done it all one time).

Now in data logging stage. Truck gets up and goes!!!!

That’s great to hear! Just to confirm, did you do the stock Corsair turbo? I have one with me that I am getting ready to do a driveway install with, but I don’t have the HPFP or injectors. I am curious, did your tuner recommend you those parts? I was thinking to get the fuel pump and injectors if I decide to send my turbo out for something like the 57mm build.

I followed this original post and actually piece it together.

Used a new stock Corsair turbo because I wasn’t gonna spend $4k for the CTR 57.
Injectors and HPFP just help unlock more from your engine and the turbo.

My mechanic dropped the engine completely out instead of taking out the AWD system.

I come from LandRover world, and it's usually body-off to do serious work to the engine...quicker and much easier than anything else. What's involved with Mav's engine from subframe removal? I worked on the old Taurus platform....4 bolts and the whole subframe came out with the engine like the box off a pickup truck.
