Yeah but do that back to back about three or four times until the Hybrid battery falls off.
The 2.5 will slow way down. The EB will keep on trucking hard and fast.

But. That's never happened to me in real life.

What drive mode did they use?

Some truth about the battery boost so I am surprised no one has added a light boost turbo to a hybrid. Maybe five psi from a rear mount type. Not a great fan of that style but they do work. Just a thought

All right, time to pay the picture tax. Let's see 'em!
Ok Lets see what I can find

I am restoring the 68 now. Interior will be done this week, followed by the rest of the body in the coming months.

65 needs an engine and that will wait until next year. No pics, unfortunately.

Wow, I love those early coupes. A friend bought one in the early 00s, like yours with the straight 6, cream with blue interior. He picked it up in California from the original owner, low miles and it was like NEW! You could loosen any bolt on the undercarriage with a hand wrench ... Even the bare metal gas tank straps didn't have a speck of rust on them.

Driving on the worst possible roads there wasn't a single rattle to be heard. Unbelievable...

Probably so. But why would a person repeatedly do back to back tests just to deplete the battery?

Ford's f150 power boost combines a 3.5 Ecoboost with a Hybrid. It's faster than theei conventional EcoBoost

Exactly! In normal driving the battery is never depleted, The TFL truck guys towed a max load trailer using a Hybrid up a long, steep grade, the Maverick maintained speed the entire time

My 2016 Ford XLT Transit Connect was fine in flat Florida. But it struggled when I moved up here.
Base engine size, 2.5 L. Cylinders, Inline 4. Base engine type, Gas. Horsepower, 169 hp @ 6,000 rpm. Torque, 171 lb-ft @ 4,500 rpm.

For some reason, maybe because of my one very short test drive of the hybrid that must of had a depleted battery I got it in my head I’d not always have the electric motors added power.

I should drive another Mavbrid for a longer test drive.
