It took some patience and staying off the interstates for 2 weeks, but I finally joined the 600 mile club. The computer says I averaged 47.2 mpg, but I think it was closer to 45 mpg.

It's interesting that it thinks I could go 690 miles on my next tank. I put 13.5 gallons in after getting 600 miles. 690 miles would insinuate the tank holds 15.5 gallons. The internet says it holds 16.5 gallons but the computer uses 13.8 gallons to calculate miles to empty. With that bit of info, maybe I'll get to the 700 mile club. :)

Interesting with it's math for current tank - it thinks you only used 12.7, and was estimating the final 1.1 was only going to be 7 miles. Nuts.

It's estimating you'll get 50 MPG after the fillup, using that 13.8 figure.

Which I've seen several report on 25MY that it does seem to overestimate for next tank decently above what it knows you got on current tank, again using that 13.8 figure.
Maybe it really only jumps up to next rounded 5 mpg figure and maths it out from there.

You should see that adjust after the ride from station to home!

Now the question - how brave are you to go into the undocumented but indeed tested almost 3 gal range?
Warning after warning (I'm assuming 25MY does the same) - seeing orange pump light - seeing needle on bottom of thick line...

The 690 miles estimate is probably because the last few miles you drove before filling up were downhill or gentle/all electric. The D2E estimate is based mostly on recent performance, not on the whole tank estimate it shows.

Yeah, I've never run out of gas before (except when someone asked me to drive their car which was on empty), so I don't want to ruin my streak. I suppose I could just put a couple of gallons of gas in my bed, so I could drive confidently until I run out or hit 700. :)

I don't know why, though even past vehicles I've always tried to get full tank used and great mileage, but at some point of the last quarter tank, or the 50 mile DTE notice - my mind does sorta go to thinking of back road routes where I can optimize the EV usage.

Infrequently I start off a tank that way too - usually when I fill up and have immediate highway mileage just showing terrible avg, I'll remember to take the routes that allow move EV use to increase mpg.

If gas prices fluctuated around here by 20 cents like they used to over a year ago - I'd be in my normal fillup routine when I see drops, and try to squeeze past rises I hope will drop before needed. That was always an exciting challenge too - I'd say more than reaching 600.

I finally made it to the 600 Club. Came close many times.
Today 600.9 and it took 12.8 gallons to refill
The price was at a station connected to my grocery store. That was after my points were used to reduce the per gallon price

I was about to join it, at 500 miles with 117 miles to empty, but them my Scout troop needed me to tow a trailer for the weekend.
But at 499 miles it took only 10.945 miles to fill it. Got 30 mpg for the 100 miles with the trailer.
Seems like I get my best mileage with a combination of short around town trips and ~20 mile freeway trips at 65 mph. 70° f seems to be a sweet spot also.

This is my second entry into the 600 mile club, and this is with scheduled starts every day for 15 mins at a time Monday thru Friday before I leave from work. Living in crowded South Florida, I rarely ever get into 55+ mph territory even on the interstate as I only ever drive the interstate during morning and evening rush hour traffic where I’m averaging 25-30 mph both ways. This was on my way to work and I was definitely trying to stay in battery range as much as possible so as to not have to use my reserve tank.

Joined the 600 mile club today. Running E15, too! Added 14.2 more gallons of E15, since it sells at a substantial discount vs E10. Hand calculation says 42.3mpg.

Did about 100 miles of 75mph interstate on this tank, rest was city and urban/rural highway.

I remember when I joined the Mile High Club. Sounded great in theory but having sex in an airline toilet - yuk.

I’ve hit the 600 mile mark 3 times since buying my 1st Maverick. Once with my 22 ecoboost AWD 606 mile at 37.5mpg then twice with my 23 hybrid 622 miles and 602 miles can’t remember the mpg but when I traded it for my 25 hybrid AWD the 23 was averaging mid 40s. Wife also has a 24 hybrid most we’ve done before refilling it was in high 500s wife didn’t want to risk running out of gas. I’m pretty sure the 24 could easily do 600 as we’ve made several small trips under 150 miles where we averaged in the 50s once did a 125 mile trip and average 63 mpg and that was hand calculated. Red and green Mavs are wife and mine The blue one is our sons he says he’s getting a tad over 40mpg.
