My blackout maverick with a blackout F150 Lariat powerboost. The F150 powerboost has way too much kick when it goes to gas engine for my liking

My previous Bronco Sport was Shadow Black,
Loved it.
Way way too hot in the summer sun,
A bitch to keep clean,
The Bad Boy look for sure,

I really liked owning it for four years.
It was my first Black vehicle,
And my last.

Owned my Hot Pepper Red Mavrick for nine months now.
Only washed it four times. I’m good.

I never ever thought I’d hear a guy, any guy say, “The F150 powerboost has way too much kick when it goes to gas engine for my liking.”

Really does depend on where one lives. A black vehicle in the desert states is an invitation to miserable.

I don't know about other regions. But I believe it is an invitation to super misery during pollen season in the southeast, especially where there are pine trees. To be honest owning any color is misery that time of year. But extra dark colors, especially black seem to be the worst. On the positive side, love bugs are not quite as visible

Almost every time I've shopped for a used car I end up with a black one, somehow the model/trim I want shows up at the price I can live with, but never the color.
It almost happened again when I shopped for my used Mav, but this time I said hell no and kept looking, I live in a very dusty town and got tired of the black paint upkeep.
