WiFi is not faster to download OTA updates. Fords Sync4 OTA updates only come over a cellular connection via the onboard modem that uses the AT&T network.

If you see this icon on your Sync4 screen then it means your vehicle is connected to Fords servers and communication for OTA updates is good.

I have not received the OTA update either since I purchased my Mav the end of March.

Verify that you have “Vehicle Connectivity” configured properly via the infotainment center… then see below. Hope this helps fellas…

I noticed the up/down arrow symbol in my '22 ecoboost XLT. I realized it was an indication of two-way comms, but to my knowledge have never gotten an OTA update to anything other than the entertainment thing. In both cases, the updates needed to be given a kick by me to get the update download started. That is all the pre-25MY could do.
And so at this point not really useful to keep the Wifi connection on auto and updates on auto - as nothing to find anymore.
You can still turn that all on and manually check once a month if you feel like it, then back off.
One less system doing something automatically thru the night that could flip out and not turn back off.
I still haven't received this update. Maybe it's not for the hybrid?

I have a 25 EcoBoost and have not received this update yet.
Fords OTA update process is a wild ride! As a 2023 Mach-E owner I can tell you that over the past 2.5 years of ownership Ford is still struggling with this so expect the same for you 2025 Mav owners.
My 25 Ecoboost prompted me that it will update tonight. I have mine set to perform updates on the weekends at 1AM.

Thanks for the heads up! Getting the feeling this is an update only for Ecoboost.
