PCM 25.11.0 update for Ecoboost was released in July. The hybrid was just released in September.
Curious...did you get this information from your dealer or from Ford? Can you verify this version via ForScan?
A new PCM (25.11.0) Over-The-Air (OTA) update was released for certain 2025 Ford Maverick vehicles equipped with Sync 4 technology on July 31, 2025. This update was delivered via the vehicle's built-in modem, allowing it to connect directly to Ford's network without requiring a Wi-Fi connection. The update is only available to 2025 model year vehicles with Sync 4, meaning owners of 2022-2024 model year Mavericks will not receive this update. The update is primarily focused on PCM diagnostics and does not introduce noticeable new features or improvements for the user. Owners can enable OTA updates through the vehicle's on-screen settings under the Software Updates tab and can schedule when the update is applied, as the vehicle cannot be used during the update process.
Does this work for the 2022 model as well? I saw that setting and turned it on but I've never seen or gotten any updates.
no unfortunately ota updates are for 2025 models or newer.
It's just what I've picked up on the forums, and it seems to make sense the two would be separate updates.
