I know it has been mentioned in other places on the forum, but just a reminder for those with the extended factory warranty and the hybrid. The hybrid high voltage battery and related components have a required by law 8yrs 100k mile warranty, and the extended warranty does not apply to it, it cannot be extended. I was wrongly under the assumption that buying the extended factory warranty extended the high voltage system battery warranty also, but it doesn't. Just an FYI.

I wonder if coolant was drained during repair?
You may be on to something! I had one of the new Thunderbirds (worst car I ever owned) and it had a vent tube by the firewall to release the air in the cooling system that was trapped when coolant was added to the radiator. You may have air in the system?

Whatever it was, Ford tech fixed it. I've towed and put 2356 miles on it in a month with no issues.
