How to tell if I turned Auto Start/ Stop off

Got my 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid last week and read that the Auto Start Stop is on every time I start vehicle. Is there a way to turn it off temporarily?

I may do that but how do I know now if it is off or on?

Not sure what button you are pushing, but unless something has changed for 2025, the hybrids don't have a driver-controllable A/S/S system like the Ecoboosts do.

The light should illuminate orange once you deactivate. It will also prompt you in the main DIS

On my 2022 you mash a button on console,light comes on to let you know the off on is off.goes back to on when you turn motor off,light isn’t on..spend the 100$ and no more button mashing.

For the Autostop Eliminator, the 22-24 Maverick Gateway Module where it plugged in is different than 2025.
So I'd check with Autostop before getting one for a 2025 Ecoboost.

2022 to 2024 C2431 connector on back of OBDII/GWM is 24 pins.
2025 GWM C2431A connector is 26 pins.

In the bottom bar of the driver display, the A with the 3/4 circle and the slash through it. I never turn it off as it does not bother me, but I want to say it turns green when it is on, orange when you turn it off, and in this picture, I think it looks grey because I'm in park.

Edit: mine is a 2025 Lariat/Tremor EcoBoost, and I'm not sure if it's different on hybrid hehe

Guys, OP has a HYBRID. Here's a pic of a 2025 XLT hybrid. The reason I know this is because the one button on the center console is NOT A/S/S...

Always mention if you have hybrid - now you know the confusion caused when your status info isn't available to see on mobile reading.

You don't have Auto Start Stop.

This may be confused with the Auto Hold function that the button is below the infotainment screen. That looks almost the same but instead of an A, it has a hand. That will hold the foot brake for you while you are sitting at a traffic light. I don't know if that one has a symbol on the driver display but the button back lights bright orange when it is on.

You may want to edit the title and include the word HYBRID .
