For those gearhead types, here are some pictures of what a 2025 Hybrid AWD underside looks like.
The good news is that all the fluid change maintenance look pretty easy to get to.

Are you planning on covering the big gaping hole in the rear on the drivers side?

I already did, but only because I thought I was going to mount an ARB compressor in that fender. I ended up mounting it in the passenger side fender though.

Did you use the Mabett underbody cover or come up with something yourself? I want to cover the hole on mine but I'm not really sold of using the Mabett cover and removing the bolts that go into the frame to accomplish it.

I used the Mabett. The bolt removal was no big deal, but the camera angles in their instructions were very confusing. The instructions are also showing of and EB Maverick, which is not the same as the hybrid (exhaust wise). It would not be worth the trouble to build your own in my opinion, when someone else has already done the engineering. The Mabett parts are very high quality.

I appreciate your input. I guess I was just a little hesitant about breaking those bolts loose from the frame and I'm sure they need to be tightened back up to a certain torque setting? I can definitely see the beauty of having a nice quality cover and just install it and never have to worry about it again though. Not sure what I'll end up doing.

@MarkLally any idea what size those crummy metal nut retainers are that hold on the insulation panels to the underbody side I would like to replace those with actual stainless nuts. Are they M6?

Sorry, I didn't check the size, but I would guess they were M6. They did appear to be quality fasteners though.

The ones I'm talking about aren't quality fasteners, they're just the cheap stamped sheet metal shaped like a nut that hold the sound insulation and heat shield panels to the underside of the vehicle.

I would much prefer getting a actual three-quarter inch washer and an actual nut to secure that sound dampening and heat insulation panels cuz otherwise if you tap on them you can hear they rattle.

Oh, I didn't take off any of the side panels, just the one under the engine/transmission. But judging from your picture, those don't look like M6, they look more like a sheet metal thread.

It's a welded stud to the underbody but the fastener is just cheap sheet metal I guess I'll have to pick random sizes from the hardware store and figure out which one it is.
