I have a mystery that I am trying to figure out.
Owner's Manual describes and many post have shown that the Maverick has two variant instrument panel clusters, 4.2 and 6.5 inch. ForScan has nothing on the subject as best as I can tell within the IPC section. I did a full (all sheets) search on the Livnitup sheet and "6.5" only shows up once on the ACM module. I understand that the ACM module is associated with the Center Touch Screen Audio/Nav system, not the cluster. Very Odd.

It is not an idle mystery. Other users on here have described how they can configure how the 6.5 screens can manage if the Seatbelt minder might show up using just the basic menus for the cluster. It is also on page 117 on my 2024 Owner's manual that there is an option Select Screens that would enable or disable showing the Seatbelt as optional to display. But nothing in ForScan or Livnitup that would at least expose this difference to user configuration. 4.2 only shows up in two sheets, ACM with the "6.5" and again on the PCM module but in this case its really a find of RDRGS 361 mm (14.2").

What's your question???
My GOAL is to hide that stupid Seatbelt warning screen on the 4.2" instrument cluster. I will not likely achieve that goal any time soon. I am already annoyed and have saved screenshots that the IPC screen remains but the idiot light and chimes have gone away. I have NOT manipulated any values; just menu options in ForScan. I want the chimes to go away. I just want to preserve the idiot light but its not a requirement.

I just find its really weird that neither Forscan or Livnitup even note that this distinction about screens exists. If the 6.5 can show/hide the SEATBELTS screen, and its in the manual, it would seem reasonable to know where other, more sophisticated users have figured out where this information is stored.

To be clear:
6.5" has a screen option of whether SEATBELT screen will appear ON/OFF DISABLE/ENABLE based in the manual.
4.2" does NOT present these options in the menus.
ForScan and LivnitUp do not even appear to figure out that any of these differences exist. At best Livinitup suggests that the Audio system needs to understand what the Instrument Cluster can do.

IPC display changed for the 2025 models. For mine, I very rarely have any backseat passengers so I keep these buckled at all times. As long as I put on my seatbelt prior to starting up, the seatbelt warning box does not pop-up.

Only works on larger 6.5 screen. 6.5 is distinct in that the dials look like they might overlap with the center screen. Video I saw was a bit hard to follow as it was on repeat with no defined start/stop. From memory he was looking at the cluster instrument and hit the MENU button and found display screens. It was not buried in VEHICLE SETTINGS but I dont recall if it was buried somewhere else. My manual talks about it somewhat p117 but only the 6.5

I found a PDF of the Owner's manual at a ford site, so maybe search that.

My is hybrid 2025, I think is 8" dash screen, and I can't find anything how to turn off seat belt warning. My next step is forscan.

@chiko FYI I did this (as did many) and it gets rid of everything. Also if chimes annoy you, there are multiple options to get rid of all the stupid chimes that happen like when you insert the key or turn the vehicle on.

Mine is completely silent, devoid of all pop ups except the "READY" or whatever that goes away fairly quickly.

I did have an issue with a chime happening @ 73 mph for some reason but after re-entering everything it seems to have stopped.

Understood. I have made a few relevant changes already, including setting the Seatbelt Warning Market to Europe. That did a good chunk of what I was trying to accomplish.

The point of this thread is that Forscan has nothing to say about the two IPC sizes, Livinitup, has nothing and your valuable spreadsheet does not comment on it. I am just trying to better understand what the options are really doing. Like what is the difference between a Minder and a Monitor. I also scrolled through all the BCM options and I could not find the 6.5/4.2 distinction either. Why are there 3 1s in Alternate #2; 3rd row seating? Driver, Passenger, Back? I am not sure.

The only thing I have broken so far is that I no longer have the Seatbelt idiot light. Not even during the idiot light test at RUN position. I am not quite sure why.

EDIT (23 May): Figured it out with lots of paper and cross checking various user on here including @mar.neumann @GotMojo @Mabcim and @Livnitup. Makes no logical sense but the 3 1s represent changing the configuration of the 3 back seats from MONITOR to MINDER. Still don't what distinguishes a MONITOR from a MINDER, nor why the back seat configures = the front seats behavior. Got the idiot light back which is fine. Not sure why it disappeared as I have only changed the Market stuff. Idiot ligh might have something to do with my failed guess to change the 2 fronts MINDER to match back MONITOR.

Research Only, no change or confirmation about what it does. Only change so far is to change the Seatbelt Warning Market from USA to Europe. It has the desired effect of delaying the chime until about 12 MPH but no effect on IPC screens. It may have an unexpected side effect in that on my singular test, the Back seat triggered nothing. No warnings on screen/no chime at any speed. No change to the the actual 720-13,14 codes. SWM manipulates 720-01-02 only; 0=USA 2=Europe.

I already got the dongle and installed the forscan, haven't try anything yet. Does the seat minder need to be done for every seat or three is settings for do it all, also for the chime, separately or all at once.
