Rough Country Tonneau sale price

I've been looking/debating tonneau covers for the last month or so, and finally pulled the trigger on a Rough Country hard tri-fold. I got the one that folds all the way up behind the rear window (the more expensive of the two hard tri-folds). There is an authorized dealer (based out of Utah) that is having a 5% off sale on their eBay storefront, so it knocked the price down under $720 (before taxes) which seems like a pretty good deal. The eBay dealer has both hard and soft tonneaus with the 5% off coupon, but the coupon expires at the end of today. This dealer is also listing that the price on the Rough Country tonneaus will go up on 5/19, so that's why I went ahead today. Just thought I'd post this if anyone is interested in a new tonneau with a little bit of a price break.

Bought mine at that price from Rough Country last December, and I really like mine too .

I had minor leaking at first, but after the weather warmed up the seals seemed to have conformed better to the track and I see no evidence of leaks after hard rains.

Yup, mine still leaks a little, especially going through a car wash, but nothing like the soft cover (still in my profile pic) it replaced. TBH I have been too lazy to fool around with it to see if I could get it to seal better. I really like how easy it is to operate.

I typically hand wash my vehicles, so my Mav has never been through a car wash. It's entirely possible that the cover would leak in that scenario, but I'd still be happy with it.

I got the same one and installed it this past Tuesday. Since the bed is short, I got the flip up so I can access the entire bed if necessary . I. Like it

I had it in my shopping cart at reconrecovery for a couple days while I was doing some more review reading. Decided to go for it an hour ago and it gave me an error and said price went up. Hadn't seen this thread, now it's around $150 more than what I just had in my cart. Grrr.

I found that Amazon is still selling them at original price ($649 for the 2/3 fold tonneau and $749 for the full fold up tonneau). Saves $100 to $150 on these vs buying them from Rough Country, and the seller is Amazon so if you have any credits or credit card points, you could use them to knock the price down even further. Beats $799 and $849!

Thanks, I hadn't even looked there, just assumed it was the same. Because of this I started looking at the Worksport AL4's, more money but look to be very high quality. Haven't seen anyone on this forum that has said they bought one, just a couple asking if anyone had.

Wow! That’s the story of my life either buy something just BEFORE it goes on sale, or waiting too late and just MISSING the sale.
