I have a 25 XLT on order since November with the Luxury Package. A primary reason for adding the Lux is I'm pretty tall and have lower back issues, so want a drivers seat that's as adjustable and comfortable as possible.
My order has been continuously delayed though (not 2022 level delays, but still), and I see a dealership within a days drive away just got in a very similarly specced Maverick, but its missing the Luxury Package. I'm tempted to take a day to drive out there and abandon my order.

I'm wondering how the powered drivers seat really compares to the manual one, adjustability wise? I'll be the driver 95% of the time, so I won't be making constant adjustments for other drivers. I'm not big on lumbar support, but I do like to get the drivers seat as low as possible so I don't have to duck my head to see trafficlights (can be an issue for drivers over 6ft depending on the vehicles windshield size).
Has anyone driven both for an extended time and able to offer any opinions on power vs manual driverseat?

not quite what you're asking, but I originally sat in an XLT with power seats, and couldn't fully extend my left leg--but with the Lariat I can.
🤷‍♂️

Neither can tilt the seat which is how we're used to fitting tall people in small vehicles. However, I"ve heard that it's possible to swap in a 10 way from (Escape?), which tilts.

The seats are physically the same, regardless of trim, power or manual. The big difference between the power seat and the manual is lumbar support.

The seats don't move up and down, it tilts up and down on a single hinge, unlike most vehicles with height adjustment. It's not great. Never sat in a manual seat, I got the lux for the heated seat and steering wheel, heated mirrors, along with the hitch and 4pin connector for towing.

Average height with lumbar issues and my 25 XLT lux seats are more comfortable than my 24 Lariat ones. But I'm not as tall as you. That being said, the adjustability is the same in terms of height. I'd opt for lux if I were you. Even though your order was delayed, they are out there on the lots. Plenty of them.... I had one on order and it was scheduled, but I found one on the lot 2.5 hrs away with even more options on it.

Also with the non-luxury package you won't get the heated seats.

Manual seats have three adjustments a bar at the lower front bottom to slide the seat manually forward and backwards. Also a middle lever to adjust the seat height up as well as down (Yes the manual seats do adjust up as well as down). A third lever further back near the seat back adjust imagine this the seat back forward and further back to a recline position if needed.

So the manual seats are six-way adjustable but with the power driver seat which only comes on the driver side regardless of trim(Even the lariat does not come with a power adjustable passenger seat), that adds power lumbar adjustment as well which the manual seats do not include.

Other than the covering there no difference in the dimensions between the Lariat and a XLT.

From Fords own website.
There is no legroom difference between a Ford Maverick XLT and a Lariat; both trims offer the same amount of legroom in the front and rear seats, as the interior dimensions are identical across all Maverick trim levels.

Ford Maverick Interior: Dimensions
The first thing you will notice about the interior of the Ford Maverick is the space. It may be listed as a compact truck, but you will be impressed by the dimensions it provides.
For example, front passengers have 40.3 inches of headroom and rear passengers have 39.6 inches of headroom, if you choose the option that includes a moonroof. If you choose to go without a moonroof, you get 38 inches of front headroom and 39.5 inches of rear headroom.
The Ford Maverick also provides 42.8 inches of front legroom and 36.9 inches of rear legroom. There is also 55.4 inches of hip room in front and 54.1 inches of hip room for rear passengers.
Overall, the Ford Maverick has 100.3 cubic feet of passenger volume.

Facts are facts.
If there were a difference. Ford would publicize it. In order to get people into their higher cost trim level. It all comes down to where the seats were adjusted and the placebo effect of a nicer interior.

I have a 23 Lariat. Bought used (3k miles) from Carmax because I needed a vehicle fairly quickly. Generally happy with it EXCEPT for the seat. There's not enough adjustment in it for me to get comfortable on a long drive. I bought a tapered seat cushion which helped and put new pedal covers on which extended the accelerator pedal a little bit. Would have liked more, but it helps.

I find the seats in my Maverick extremely comfortable but I’m an average size guy so can’t say how they work for other people.

My wife’s CRV has an 8 way power seat and has more available positions than my Maverick.

But I like everything about my Maverick so I’m pretty biased about all of it.

I just towed a trailer full of drywall (30 sheets) and still got 26 mpg.
It’s an awesome truck.
