My 2023 ford maverick hybrid and none of the airbags were deployed in a 2 vehicle 45 mph front end accident with pictures.

You need to have information pulled from the RCM/Vehicle to find out why they didn’t deploy. It’s equally odd the seat belts didn’t restrain you yet it appears there was enough energy transfer to send the printer to the windshield, though not through which means it was at low velocity. The energy transfer appears to be minimal. Normally a small overlap hit like that at that speed is devastating traditionally. This appears to be an angular/redirected impact that thankfully meant you didn’t get a full impact. With FordPass signaling a deployment and I assume the automatic braking applying (collision avoidance or otherwise) means either it was interpreted by other sensors or the RCM failed. Looking at the impact I’m not entirely worried about no airbags as there’s not enough evidence to show to me the RCM would have interpreted this as a high risk crash. FordPass also could be interpreting collision avoidance and automatic emergency braking as a sign of a crash, maybe paired with other sensors non-restraint related and assumed airbag involvement. The head to steering wheel impact though could be a number of factors even if the inertia lock engaged on the seatbelt, injuries sustained are superficial as well. Luckily a very minor accident

so, the lawyers weren't interested trying to sue the person driving that van, and/or the company they work for if it was a work vehicle or doing work-related business?
I don't think OP wants to pursue litigation against silver van, I think OP wants a big pay day from Ford - which probably most lawyers have correctly indicated to him there is no case here.

OP has hired a personal insurance lawyer.
The mount of pain the torn rotator cuff and the pinched nerve is still an issue.

He wants to sue Ford, alleging the vehicle to have been defective in failing to deploy the airbags…

I would pursue legal remuneration, and a new Maverick, if the vehicle said they were deployed, but they didn't.

Man… seeing the pics, I’d be freaked out too. I had a head on crash around 40 mph, the front end was crushed, and the airbags never deployed, which had me spiraling for a bit.

I brought that exact situation to Ceja Law Firm and they explained that airbags rely on sensors and deceleration thresholds, not just visible damage.

They also told me when non deployment can still be considered normal and when it becomes a liability issue worth pushing. That clarity helped me stop guessing and focus on next steps.
