Strange to see a Tesla driver actually paying attention!

I see a few Tesla drivers working on laptops, etc., but most of the Teslas I enconter seem to be responsibly operated - reasonable speeds, safe following distances, good lane discipline. On the other hand, I was sure for years that BMWs shipped without working turn signals .

Without turn signals, but with a sense of entitlement!

WOW. Hit right where the fuel filler door is, and no explosion.

I've lived in places where evasive driving is a survival skill. And where evading something like this is just part of a routine morning commute.

This is a clip from a video I was watching, this poor Maverick was just destroyed.

I hope the driver/passengers are okay, it looks bad.
Took a while to get it to play. Looks like the Maverick took a hit to the driver side front and rear doors. No doubt who's fault that was.

If you watch the slow motion playback, the impact was on the driver side doors, not the fuel door. The tank is centered under the truck and wouldn't have been impacted anyway. In any case, gasoline doesn't just explode like in movies anyway.

Having recently returned from CA, I can attest to the presence of ecocentric Tesla drivers

The last was terrible, since the women driving that Maverick was killed. I remember when it was first posted here, someone pointed to a local new article. ☹

Mavericks are trash. Saw one get smashed right in my neighborhood this week. Probably totaled. I keep one hand on the horn, one hand on the shotty pump.

I'd rather my vehicle deform they way they are designed to than my body be broken. You can keep your old "solid" trucks that don't have crumple zones that lead major injuries and needless deaths for drivers and passengers.
