Ford Maverick spotted in crash compilation

Was watching an Idiots in Cars compilation, and noticed the truck around 54 seconds in appears to be a 2022 Ford Maverick.

No way. That's even less likely a Maverick. The creases in the hood are not like a Maverick and it has windshield fluid nozzles in the hood. Which a Maverick does not.

I thought those were the wheels on the XLT. I thought the roof shape was odd, but thought maybe it was just a tonneau cover.

Wow. How lucky was that pickup driver? The car missed it twice. How unlucky was the Santa Cruz driver? Three lanes over outa nowhere and all of a sudden you're rolling. Impressed at how the SC handled it.

SC SE has the exact wheels. I can kind of see the resemblance to the upgraded XLT/Lariat wheels, though.
