I like that the fact that we can all discuss different ideas and work arounds. To me this is not thread redirecting but discussing different options that can be done. I just put this out for the discussion to start.
You are correct. I like signal light repeaters on the mirrors, too, but if I'm going to get into a DIY project I also like to have things looking as close to OEM as possible and have a 100% reliability and durability rate. Short of spending big bux to try and come up w/ Ford parts from the same or similar model from another country, I think the mod to the fender vent is a very reasonable alternative. Thanx to Ty of GadCad on Etsy there's a great looking option to make the fender "vent" into a light and my hope is that someday the next owner will just think the thing is just a Ford part.

Why the hell couldn't ford go with that front end for the western market?

I have to wonder if the Ford Escape mirrors might be a fit. I can always add the wiring myself to make them work if it doesn’t have the preconfigured for the Maverick
Escape mirrors are much too different. They are bolted in versus stud and nut on the Maverick, also the electrical connector is in a much different spot. I believe the mirror cover plate against the door is significantly smaller as well. Your best best if you don't mind wiring is to get the Brazil Maverick mirror housing cover and install a small LED strip but you'd be searching for something that fits perfect unfortunately. Modifying your existing housing to accommodate something off the shelf might be best. If the existing wiring harness carries the signal wire for the lamp it's just a simple change with Forscan to enable the signal and then wiring it from the mirror side otherwise you'll have to pin both sides and run either to the BCM or a source wire.

Did they redo the ranger front end for 2025 as well? Or is this a different market front end?
It was redesigned for the 2024 model year. This is the SA variant but it looks, on brief glance, identical to the NA. There was a redesign for 2023 in Australia.

There’s also a European refresh but I believe it’s similar to what we have here. However they do have a gorgeous version akin to the Maverick Lobo called the MS-RT
