I have a 2025 XLT with the spray in bed liner. What are these plastic caps in the bed for? Are they just plugging pre-drilled holes? If so, then why aren't they in the other 2 exposed holes? It's the same on both sides.
I was gonna put in some extra rings in all the holes instead of using bed rails, but I didn't know if there were more holes behind these caps and I didn't wanna pull them out without knowing what they're for first

I didn’t get the factory rail system in my 25, and had to take those plugs out to mount the DIY one I got from a member here. There are threaded holes behind them, kinda a PIA to get out, but not super difficult

I have the spray in factory bed liner as well the plugs can be removed to install adjustable tie down rails or other mods

Why would they plug those 2 holes but not there other 2? Are they all the same thread size? They're all M8 right?

My rails were installed at the factory so I can’t speak why the other 2 weren’t plugged or the thread size sorry 🤷🏼‍♂️

I moved plugs to the holes I didn’t need to use for my rail setup. Maybe so the rails sit flush all across with the bedliner?

I just installed rails today. Those plugs are (fairly) easy to get out if you have a set of trim removal tools.
