🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Bought a used ford drop in bed liner for a ranger today for $25. Will modify it to fit . I really just want the floor section . will measure and use my jig saw to cut . l had a drop in bed liner on my f150 and liked it . Never had a problem with it after 18 years . protected the bed and no rust issues . will update after modified and installed .

Modified a ford ranger drop in Bedliner this afternoon and I am happy with the results. It protects the floor of the bed and the bulkhead under the window . Have a couple of other things to do to it . 1) remove bed tie downs and remount them on top of the liner. 2) flatten out old wheel wells using a heat gun ( not sure this will work ) and then cut to fit rear of bed near storage on. Both sides . will try to post pictures after completed but tablet may not be compatible to post pics .

Decided not to do anything else to the bedliner . It is easy to remove the way it is . I don't really need access to the bed tie downs . The wheel well material I left protects the wheel Wells and is flexible enough to get to storage area . If I was to do it again I would look for a used f150 bedliner . More flat area and enough material leftover for the tailgate cover . I am happy with the finished product for the price I paid. Added a undercover armor tonneau a couple of months later .

Hood deflector and tailgate assist were installed by my FIL.

I just wish someone made the hood deflectors to match the color of the truck

I guess you could paint it yourself, but you're right how hard would it be to make hood deflectors in other colors ? Even just basic colors would be something better then plain black.

I thought about painting it my self but color matching would be difficult. Also given the extremes a hood deflector goes through the paint job would need to be done well. Maybe if I do color matching bed liner I could get this done as well…not sure how good it would look

The fit is great and has weather proof seals around all of the edges. Too early to provide feedback on any water intrusion because I have not drove the truck in the rain and because I keep it garaged.

Well if you do end up getting caught in the rain hopefully it will stay dry and you'll give an update. It does look really good when rolled up. So far it's my top choice for a tonneau cover.

Took left over pieces from modified ranger bed liner and made a tailgate protector . not perfect but will do the job. To late to take picture . maybe tomorrow .

Found a couple of fender badges that I'd like to get.
Not only for the Maverick, if it's ever scheduled, but
for my current Ranger as well! Might consider
ordering them, when disability deposit arrives on
Wednesday. Not sure if stating what hthey are, or
posting pics is acceptable or not!
