2025 Maverick TPMS Sensor Compatibility with 2022 Maverick winter wheels.

So the issue I'm having is that I had my mechanic install my OEM rims and 22 Ford OEM TPSM sensors from my 22 Maverick on my new 25 Lariat. After two weeks of driving fine, the Ford Pass and dashboard warning does not recognize any of the sensors. My mechanic is unable to re-train the sensors even with the latest updated device. Any ideas? Sensor part number is TPSM 35/TPMS 74.

You need 433MHz sensors. The 315MHz will not work.

They are different. the part number in Motorcraft is TPMS-117.

Does anyone know if you replace the 2022 sensors with 2025 sensors, do they need to be programed for the truck? I bought a spare set for my 22 and they worked without doing anything on my 22. May consider getting a set for my spare rims.

Usually they would have to be programed. Most tire shops will do this for free. They go to sleep if they cant communicate with the vehicle. If you want you can get a programmer the ford one is a TPMS-19 and is $68.00 canadian dollars retail
