Wanted a Maverick since 2022 but the lack of availability and dealer markups meant it was a no go. Finally started seeing Mavericks selling for under MSRP and quickly learned about the recall. Tried a few 2024 Lariats that were available but the dealers were only marking them down a few thousand and promptly requiring add-ons. It was my full intention to order a custom build Hybrid AWD XLT from Granger but I found some nice 2025 Lariats well under MSRP in the area that put them roughly only $2000 more net cost than a custom order XLT. Azure Grey wasn't my first choice (maybe tied for 2nd) because it was essentially the same color as my Cool Grey Khaki Subaru. I consider this the spiritual successor to my Crosstrek and henceforth it will be known as the Baja. If I can make it happen, I will try to make the little easter egg in the picture happen.

Right now i'm just getting the basics setup - I've only installed my Wolfbox digital rear mirror, sprayed 303 Protectant on the insides, and hybrid solutions spray wax on the outside but i'd love to hear the best functional accessories and customizations that you guys would recommend.

I skipped your post and looked at the picture directly. So much confusion. 😂

Congratulations!

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick. I opted for mabetts mud flaps, a trash can/cup holder, console storage, and a extension that adds extra storage on the dash. Last but not least a hard trifold tonneau cover. So far so good but all were added for function or versatility. Oh almost forgot, I didn't get the light/electric outlet in the bed. So I added storage cubby to the driver's side bed so it offers more storage. It basically keeps my tow hook, shackle, fuel spout, nitrile gloves, plastic bags, tie downs. Of course you have the Lariat so that option is not available. Best of luck with your new truck.

Honestly the Ford logo is pretty muted but I think the subaru logo is better -from one blue oval to another - getting a sticker shouldn't be too hard.

If you find one that fits well let me know. I would do the same. I came from Subaru's as well.

Wilco, I might design my own custom one if one doesn't fit right - just need to get the dimensions right - From what I remember they're similar in size.
