If your 2025 Ford Maverick isn't blowing hot air from the vents under the dash, the most likely culprits are: a faulty blend door actuator, a clogged cabin air filter (just picked up and have driven 750 miles), a malfunctioning heater core (just picked up and have driven 750 miles), a broken blower motor (truck is blowing hot air, just not to the front floor), or incorrect climate control settings (don’t think so).

Are there air vents under the dashboard?

Sorry to hear about this. Currently, supposedly, mine is in production. Hate to hear about something like that.as this Maverick will be my first.
Hopefully it's a simple fix. Wishing you luck.

You could take it off off auto mode and use whatever button is used to direct air flow and force it to the feet setting. If that doesn't work, then something is broken.

In auto mode, I can't recall where the air goes while heating though.

Yes. But they are not near the front of the dash but way back where you feet are. I thought the same thing but feel way back under the dash and you can feel the hot air

I would take a picture of where the vents are but I have a 23.
Good Luck

On the screen there is a picture of the air going to the floor and that is what is not happening.
Yep, when we get first oil change this problem will be address.

On the automatic setting the vents in front of your face are not normally utilized when heating the air. You can observe that the air temperature reaches the specified setting anyways, without defrosting your face. When cooling the cabin the front vents are utilized more often. Stop worrying, there is nothing wrong with it.

Sorry but when wife's legs are cold and the picture on the screen is showing that the hot air is suppose to be going to the floor and is not, there is a problem. My thinking is that there is air coming out of the vents at each end of the dash, this is not right. When set to go to the floor, all hot air should go to the floor. We we will take to FORD on first oil change which is going to be soon. Too cold in northern Michigan to do much but stay inside.

Edit: found the air vents under the dash and hot air is coming out as it is suppose to be. We found that the temp on screen has to be up more then what would be expected. Then the hot air comes out real good.

👍
My Maverick, certainly does not seem to have the same volume of air blowing on my feet as my other vehicles have had.

Please keep us updated with the results from visit to the dealer.

This happened to my wife on our ‘23 Escape, which has Sync 4 as well. I never got to check it out as it resolved itself the next day or two. It was very strange.

Is it still doing this when you switch to Manual mode and select floor vents from the manual options?

One thing to note- Fords will not let you Max/Fan on cool or heat to the foot vents - FYI

So on max then nothing should come out? Just blocks it?

Or still a high flow should come out, just some may be coming out elsewhere too?

Ehhhh - air temp around the sensor may reach set point (which is actually a stupid reason to use the defrost vents to accomplish since thermo right up there in that flow), but when down at your feet stays at ambient air temp or 30-40 less than set point - that ain't right. That's still poor design.
Stopped using Auto when I could tell it's ability to select which vents was very lacking.
