Tim with Long McArthur Ford has several videos and on one of them he said Job 2 will begin approximately 3 months after Job 1. I'm waiting, too.

Probably less. I'm guessing they did most of the retooling over this July shutdown and built the demonstration 2025's you are seeing now.
Will all '24s be built and shipped prior to the 11/11 date. I don't have a scheduled date yet but this seems to put an outer bound on my build.

I sure hope they make mine before then! I can't believe the standard XLT wheels and tires have been "exhausted availability" for months.
they initially schedule ~3 months out, so the first Job 2 production week is going to get scheduled in Nov/Dec.
I am not sure if there's a way to have an order and be sure that it has protrailer, rather than deleted with credit. if you want to really be sure then you don't order until Job 2 scheduling, but this will put you behind in the queue compared to other Lariats etc.
It does. However I see you're ordering a Lariat Tremor. If it has a sprayed-in bedliner that goes offsite and back, then gets shipped via rail. It can add 1-3 weeks to the process. (When it was constrained, it was consistently 3-4 weeks. It's been a lot faster for a while, but it's still at least a little delay.)
Then you have the huge wildcard of shipping time. Could be a week. Could be more than a month. My 2 trucks each sat in KC for 3 weeks after coming off the train, before they were sent via car carrier truck.

Probably only a day or two, if that. Nothing to re-tool, on the assembly line. The only differences are the front end, and I doubt they have to change any robot stuff for that. I believe the headlights go in by hand. They probably get the grill and bumper as an assembly and just ‘pop’ it in place.
