20" (Chrome spoked) wheels and tires upgrade

I have bought over 25 years ,6 sets of rims and tires from Discount tire. I am old school and like Chrome , easy to clean , no bolts or rivets showing ,center caps to cover lugs ,and being able to clean the inside of the rim and tire. Saying this,I looked on Discount's website and did not see a match, so I found what I loved, and went to Discount and they said they could order them and match to price I had. I said deal.

So Motiv 20-8.5 5-108 wheels , with245-45/20R Continental control contact sport srs+ tires.

Love,Love,Love ,Rims,Tires, and Discount Tire same as cash 12 months om interest.

Gotta love them. You just transformed that XL totally. I am with you on Chrome. I am too old to appreciate the blacked-out movement. How did the 20's affect your speedometer accuracy?

Very nice! I'd be all over a set of old-school Cragar SS's if they made them to fit,,,,,

LOVE the rims, totally transformed the truck!!! I’m a senior guy and another that’s not into the blackout look. I still love the old Crager SS wheels. Those were the had to have wheels if you wanted to be the coolest guy way back then. Wish they made them now to fit the Maverick

those motiv wheels definitely made the finals for what I was looking at. They just werent enough so i'll be going another direction when I get mine.

I don't mind chrome, and on certain colors looks way better than black. I am partial to bronze myself, but I prefer to be different anyway.

I like chrome too .... my first two trucks had chrome wheels ... when it came to the Mav, i said no black truck and no chrome wheels ... well ... 1/2 ain't bad. My black wheels grew on me over time.

I'm cool with chrome - our new ADU has chrome for all plumbing fixtures - easier to clean AND cheaper to buy = win, win!

Not a fan of 20's though. I just see worse ride, and more expensive tires that wear out quicker. (see above - I like cheaper and lower maintenance, I guess!)

Look for them online for the maverick and if you fined them , go to Discount and order. Love Cragars

No change ,for the new tires exact same height.

Definitely not a worst ride, actually better than the factory Continentals.
