No, your truck has modem that stays connected to ford. You just have to enable ota updates in the menu settings. You can also schedule when updates will be applied, since you cannot use your truck during the update whatsoever.This might be a stupid question but does the truck have to be on to receive updates? My driveway is 5 feet from my modem overnight.

None that you would notice. It’s more for PCM diagnostics than anything.None for mine yet. I have the 25 eco boost and last OTA update was a month back. It’s set for auto updates. Does it seem to improve any features?

Do you mean menu settings in the App or on the vehicle? I have a 2024 ECO so I'm not sure if I would even get this update, but since I bought the truck used in May, I don't think I have received any OTA updates.No, your truck

OTA updates are enabled thru the onscreen settings/software updates tab. You need a 25 model with sync-4 to be able to receive ota’s…Do you mean menu settings in the App or on the vehicle? Onscreen in vehicle, once updated it will show you a summary of the update in FordPass.Where are you seeing this release message? In the Ford app or on the vehicle screen?
I have auto update turned on and did not get it.
