The Falken Wildpeak A/T4W is here at last and the new A/T4W is shaping up to outshine its immensely popular A/T3W in every respect. This includes tread depth, weather protection, and on-and off-road performance.

Previously only available on the Wildpeak R/T and Wildpeak M/T, Falken has introduced their three-ply DURASPEC technology into the A/T4W (available on select sizes). This construction is stiffer and thicker compared to it's 2-ply counterpart, to endure harsh off-road conditions. No matter the terrain, from smooth highways to rough paths, this all-terrain tire will keep you safe and secure. The three-peak mountain snowflake weather indication and weather-focused tread composition and pattern give it the ability to tackle almost any weather condition.

If you've already got your hands on a new set of WildPeak A/T4W tires for your Maverick, we'd love for you to share your initial impressions along with a picture or two!

*While we don't list every tire size online yet, as new internal part numbers are added to our system, they'll automatically appear on the website. If you have a question about a certain size, please let us know.

-KEY FEATURES-
  • A brand-new rubber tread composition ensures your tires provide long-lasting comfort on the road.
  • Falken introduced their revolutionary 3-ply DURASPEC Sidewall Technology. This technology is only available on certain sizes.
  • The new staggered shoulder blocks and projecting sidewall lettering work together for an extra grip, even on tough conditions.
  • The latest Heat Diffuser technology releases trapped heat from within the tire. This provides even more stability. Whether you're towing or carrying a heavy load.
  • Increased tread stiffness and a sturdy build allow for greater load capacities and tire pressures than A/T3W.
  • The tread pattern is both familiar and amplified. It has 3D Canyon Sipes and a silica-enhanced compound to improve performance and traction in snowy, icy, and rainy weather.

Thanks for reaching out, Shane!

Not in O.E. 18-inch, but O.E. 225/65R-17 and 235/65R-17 are available. There are 17" plus sizes that may work as well.
Ahh cool. It just wasn't listed on your post. Personally I am looking at 255 or 265/65r 17s for my Tremor.

There was a thread on Tacoma World when they first found out about the tire back in Dec.
It's already 10 pages long lol.

They sound like improvements overall, even if they are small. Wildpeak is already arguably the best A/T on the market, so let's hope the price stays where it's at now.

May want to list the sizes that DO fit the Mav rather than the ones that don't!

I thought you guys got confused and posted to MTC when you really meant to post to B6G.

AT3Ws have been great but they are heavy and the AT4s add even more weight. I'm looking to go lighter (Toyo Open Country or similar) with my next tire while sizing up to 245

those aren't in your original post.

the 235/65-17 Wildpeak AT3W is an optional OE Maverick size. every tremor and '22 first edition ecoboost came with that size, and if you optioned the "17 wheel with aggressive a/t tire" for $495 other trucks got them also.

Yep, 235 is the way to go. After sweating through this winter without them, I will be looking forward to getting them later this year.

yeah, thicker sidewall, updated tread rubber compound, uneven (varying width) shoulder blocks for more traction in mud & snow.

those sound like nice upgrades.

this is not a tire for those looking for optimum fuel economy or anyone who really doesn't need the 3PMS rating. I mean, you can certainly use them anyway, they look cool. and near as I can tell a lot of Nitto's A/T tire sales are based on people who never go offroad and just want them to look cool. :sneaky:

What I've never seen and maybe something people miss, is that the version that Ford mounted isn't the same as the ones you buy from the aftermarket... The OEM ones doesn't have the 'cooling ribs' by the rim and and much smaller sidbiter lugs! Took me a while to figure it out but after looking at a lot of pictures and wondering why many with the OE tires looked so lame vs. the ones people put on afterwards (and looking at my own on my Jeep XJ) the smaller/lame sidelugs became apparent!

lol seriously, most of the locals I encounter with ridge grapplers I ask how they do in snow and ice, and they say "OK I guess... I love how they look."
