Hmmm. I think cutting my own vents in my hood will function better.. won't be my first rodeo to do that...but I'm going to find another hood to cut on...

Just an observation

Not thinking it follows the hood contours along the sides at all - This here (overhang) will catch air and fly off - sooner or later - appears to be an issue on both sides ...

the Gap is more than Enough to make this a hard NO here

same thing that I noticed right away. my eye was drawn right to that. And if that is the "good side" of the photo, I hope the other sides are not worse...

First, let me say thank you for what you do. We appreciate you guys coming up with accessories for our Mavs. That being said, for me to add something as impactful to the appearance as a hood scoop, it needs to be damn near perfect. This product is a miss on a few levels. For one, the design just doesn't add anything to the look. It's styling does not suit my taste. It should have more of a 60s muscle car look. And secondly, the warped edges are unacceptable. It MUST lay flat or it looks like a cheap add-on. I think the choice of material, molding process and it's thickness lead to warbly edges. Fiberglass would have been a better choice of material, imo. Thank you for the effort, but I'm going to have to pass on this one.

Ford did it right the 1st time. No need to add junk like that to a Maverick. Just do what I did to mine. 20ā€ Ford Edge wheels/ Eibach lowering springs and call it a day!
