Getting about 40 MPG in the city says the dealership!

Seems like everyone who has ever gotten into a Maverick at this point is always 6'2"+.

I know, right. Let me have a stab at one and you can see a 5'7" guy in one... I'm going to have so much room, lol.

Correct me if I am wrong, I never hear them say they were getting 40 mpg while driving it, only that it gets 40 mpg, like they are forecasting it to get.

Hilarious how these are being posted before the normal test drive reviews.

Man wish they had spent most of the time driving it, we pretty much know all the specs/numbers at this point. Only unknowns is how does it sound/feel when driving. Nice to hear the general consensus is that the Hybrid feels torquey though.

My long experience with hybrids is that it's so subtle, I'm not sure how anyone could show it on a video. It is true, I guess, that someone could put a microphone wherever the engine noise is loudest, and you could hear the quiet. Maybe put some kind of meter that detects vibration? It's mainly noticeable when you start the car soundlessly, but in regular driving, I couldn't tell you whether the gas engine is on or off - or shifting from one or the other.

Someone could video the display if that seems useful, I reckon.

After watching this video, I came away with only one thing.... Tim from Long MacArthur is really knowledgeable. These dudes barely knew the powertrain and price range.

Is it just me or is a bit of false advertising calling this a test drive video? Wasn’t much in the test drive other than watching them pull over and then provide a basic walk around with Nico and Nico. The driver didn’t even seem confident he knew he was driving a hybrid. Would have liked to hear more about the drive performance…. And, of course, even more about Nico and Nico.

This is no test drive video, 15 seconds of driving and they pull over.
