XLT no options, front camera would be nice.

I ordered our 23 in 9/22. Delivered 8/23. Aware of the inability of Ford to fill all hybrid orders, we did not take any options which might put us back in line if there was some part shortage.

It turns out though, that while I love our Maverick, I have a biological depth perception deficiency. It is hard for me to know where the front corner of the truck is in relation to other things, like parked cars. Is it 3' or 6"? Our Forester had lower front corners so was less of a problem.

If I had to do it over again I would go for the cameras. But is there a way to add a camera, securely, say on the right front door mirror that would show the front corner of the truck and things nearby? And have that show in the video screen?

I saw an expensive kit that allowed you to add lots of cameras then watch them on the built-in screen, but I don't remember any details.

i saw another user had setup their own "backup cam" only on the side mirrors pointed forward.

You could search for "rock crawling camera" or such.

I agree with you about not having front sensors on the Maverick (they have them on the 2025's I think) I ordered a loaded Lariat in 2021, thinking that Co-Pilot 360 meant 360 meant all around the vehicle like on the Escape. They should have call it Co-Pilot 180!

My 2024 Lariat is the same.... Co-Pilot 360 must be a marketing thing vice a technical/functional thing. Certainly misleading. The Lariat trim level should have included front camera and sensors.

I'm looking into a camera from Camera Source that is supposed to connect into the Sync 3. (separate thread started).
