Camera on windshield behind rearview mirror on XLT with no ACC?

I just noticed on my truck that theres a camera on windshield facing the front of the truck. But to my knowledge I dont have the ACC so what is it for? And no i dont have that pilot 360 stuff. Just curious if its something the truck uses or its just generic on all models and only works with the necessary stuff.

Even the cars without adaptive cruise still have automatic assistive emergency braking -- so I'd assume it has to do with that
