X-plan membership

Invoice minus 0.4% plus $275 admin fee. As people have commented on also lowers doc fees. Learn from my mis-fire as ordered before knowing about the x-plan and the dealer would not change my Order Type so will look at the true factory invoice, the doc fee the dealer wants to charge and then compare it and decide. For me the break even point is $299 doc fee on whether to use the x-plan at delivery.

Update:
Dbarr about a month for stocks but if you are DAV or other method after receiving your application can be down on the phone. Called after 4 weeks and was told the application was accepted and just finishing up the stock verification. When told was a DAV member got the x-plan on the phone. Then had an email a week later and they did offer me a second pin.

Shareholder PIN generation is not fast......took nearly two months to get mine. But, compared to Maverick production, two months is down right speedy!

So I sent it initially ,they asked me for a six month old stock statement immediately and provided me with a case # I sent the statement they required .then I waited approximately 24 hours and requested an update to make sure they had everything they needed again referencing the case # . I got a reply back with my pin within 12 hours .So from start to finish apx 72 hours I did everything by e mail .

I just bought 100 shares of Ford stock right after I ordered in September. You need to have had them for 6 months to qualify for X Plan. A side benefit is that the value has gone up about $500 since September and they just restarted the dividend

they are a stickler on the 6 month rule they made me prove it..... both sides of it you need to prove you owned it 6 months ago and you still own it now

Yeah, it's bit of a pain but it's not hard to get the info from your broker.

I know with the mustang club membership you can get your x pin as soon as you sign up.

are you a digital member? when did you become a member? also you get an immediate pin? BUT to use it you have to wait 90 days correct? sorry for the btb questions!

Digital, yes.
immediate pin as soon as you become digital member, yes.
‘supposed to wait 90 days. I became a member 7 months ago and my maverick is not built yet.

X plan only got me $180 off my Lariat. Not sure it's worth all the effort to get into the plan for some of you. I have it through my employer but I was shocked the discount was so low.

When I used the X plan it saved me $597. I have a Lariat with lux package. Don't know why your savings is so low.

The higher the MSRP, the more you save with the plans. I saved over $1K with x-plan on my loaded AWD Lariat, well worth the effort to do so. On a base XL, not so much. It also caps dealer doc fees, which may help some as well.

No, all they need is a valid PIN.....they don't care how you got it.

Can you or anyone confirm they've successfully used an Xplan PIN from MCA or another source prior to the typical 90 day membership anniversary date?
