My 2025 XLT arrived last week (ordered Aug 2) and without ever seeing it in person or driving a previous model it exceeded my expectations! Ever since my first truck - a Ranger Splash I have wanted a little truck again. I have wanted the Maverick ever since it was announced, but the only hold up of me buying a previous year was an AWD hybrid and 2025 answered the call. My previous vehicles were an AWD Fusion, Fusion Titanium and when I lived in a warmer climate - two Mustang GTs. I love the new front end on the XLT. For the BAP my big thing was the grille/lights and I got that on this model without having to get it, plus the carbonized gray metallic looks awesome with the wheels. I also love the interior of the 2025 with the blue accents, that also goes well with the gray. The tech upgrades I love, especially the digital screens and sync 4. I know there have been a lot of complaints about the lack of buttons, but I have no issues of what has been implemented. IF I had to change one thing it would be only a button or nob for the fan speed, but I can live with what's there. I would eliminate the front and back buttons for the radio, song and change with +/- for the fan speed. I will probably never use those buttons because they are in easy reach on the steering wheel, plus you have the voice commands for music.

Other than the color, you have the exact truck I have on order. Thanks for the review. (I can't wait.)

Great write up! Any chance you could take a pick showing the interior and a bit of the exterior? Would love to see how the blue/gray interior looks against the carbonized gray on the outside!

Congratulations.
Is it any rhyme or reason in the order in which customers received their pick ups after ordering? I received mine barely 10 weeks after order. My saleman could not believe his eyes.

Received my XLT 2 days ago. I'm only disappointed that there are no garage door buttons overhead or anywhere. What the heck? Simple and common in vehicles.

I bought cheap garage door openers on Amazon ( 2 for $9..00) they work extremely well. Excellent range

You can put in a mirror that has them built in, I’m putting a Toyota mirror in, 150 bucks. Battery operated, last up to 10 years

Congratulations! I know the feeling. Ordered mine on Aug 1 with mostly the same options and took delivery this past Tuesday. Loving it!

I got my 2025 Ecoboost Lariat December 30 after ordering in the first week of August. This is my second Maverick. I was an early adopter having ordered my first one in June of 2022. It sold me. I traded it in even though it had fewer than 17,000 miles on it. Why? I liked the new safety features available on the 2025. I changed the color to Azure Gray. It's perfect with the new interior colors.
I'm making friends with the new screen. Android Auto offers new options--all my apps are available. The camera displays on the screen are vivid and better than what I had before. There is a front-facing camera, but it only shows up when you're getting to close to something.

I think that the 2025 is quieter and it rides more smoothly than my 2022/23.

Very pleased.

I bought a Meross smart opener from Amazon warehouse for about $32 and it works fantastic. Took about 15 mins to set up with my opener and with CarPlay it allows me to open and close when I am close to the house. When I turn down my road a "card" pops up on the CarPlay screen and I can open the garage. The "card" disappears when you get far enough away from the house so it doesn't take up any real estate when not needed. Something to look into if you don't care about the auto-dimming function of the homelink mirrors.

Nice! Something to consider…I mentioned to the salesman of my 2024 XLT that I wish it had leather seats. He said “ we can do that for you“ and it was worth the $1,000 to me to make that happen!
