Wireless Phone Charger Has Never Worked

I have a larger phone than my wife’s phone and it won’t lay flat on the charger so it doesn’t but my wife has a smaller one and it lays flat and charges.

Does anyone know any possible reasons why the wireless phone charger supposedly built into my 2022 Maverick XLT (hybrid) console has never worked? I wirelessly charge my phone on two different wireless chargers in my home, so I know it's not my phone. Also, there is nothing extra between the phone and the thin console pad that came on it from the factory.

If you have an iPhone pro or any phone that has doesn’t have the camera lens flush with the bottom of camera it will not work. Your phone must sit flat on the surface. I have an iPhone pro and mine doesn’t charge for that reason. I have the Lariat model. I am always using CarPlay which on my maverick requires a cable. The phone charges automatically when plugged in so it doesn’t matter.

My 2023 Maverick hybrid in XLT trim with the Lux package does not have a wireless charger.
I removed the orange insert then I popped open access panel, put my phone into and under the console. I took a picture of the bottom area of the console that would have a charger attached and there is none.
Here are the pictures. It is not hard to verify for yourself. Remove the orange insert, loosen access panel. Reach your fingers in and feel for the charger or lack thereof. Easy Peasy.
