Wireless charging pad part number

I would like to add the wireless charging pad to my XLT. Anyone have a part number for the wireless charging pad?

I saw one video where the cover was removed and there was a USB connection below the location for the charging pad. You may be able to connect any charging pad. I don't know the Ford part # for the factory charging pad.

I can't remember where I saw it - someone had popped open the cover plate and there was a USB plug in below it, off to the side a little bit.

Ya that's a crazy amount of money for a wireless charging pad. I guess I will DYI. Thanks for the link.

I can't remember where I saw it - someone had popped open the cover plate and there was a USB plug in below it, off to the side a little bit.

The charging pad is only available on the Lariat trim, and the lower dash area is a little different in an XLT. I will have to go out and take a look but I don't think there is a USB in the same location on the XLT.

If you remove the the plastic tray, there is a door/cover plate where the factory charging pad is. You can pry it open with a small screwdriver.
Look at a video where someone removes the orange or tan tray. It is beneath the removable tray.

Took that area apart and here are some photos. First is the orange rubber tray. Then there is only one area that could be open. The imprint of the charging pad is just imprinted in the plastic, it was not removeable. Did not see any usb port. But did find the transmission override switch. Pull the red cord and it puts it in neutral. Push it and it goes back into Park.

Oh yeah, I’m paying $21,000 for a car and putting in a $600 charging module? Me thinks NOT. Ford should be charged with theft….
