If I use a wireless CarPlay adapter, and connect my phone to it via Bluetooth, do I lose the Ford Pass app features? I like the remote start feature over the cell signal.

Not sure I can have the phone on two different Bluetooths.

Some (maybe all) USB wireless adapters use Wi-Fi between it and the phone, instead of Bluetooth. At least they do with AndroidAuto.

Check the specs on the device you are interested in.

If you have an iPhone, you can connect up to 7 bluetooth devices simultaneously as long as they don't have the same profile (two speaker systems)

Short answer : yes you can have a Wireless CarPlay adapter and retain all FordPass app features.

getting a wireless CarPlay adapter and using the FordPass app are not interconnected.

Pick one up, having wireless CarPlay is great.

Long Answer: the FordPass app is not using Bluetooth in any form. It’s using your cellular connection or a Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to then communicate with your truck via a cellular network.

The wireless CarPlay connection is established once you’ve already started your vehicle, and close enough range for both your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connect to the adapter.
