Anyone else run into this issue? I thought I was seeing things but yesterday it happened three times. Don't know if it's happened while moving, but sitting at traffic lights, I noticed the wipers kind of 'reset' themselves. They just move a little bit. It's more like how some vehicles, when you've used the wipers, when you turn off the vehicle they will kind of tuck into the cowl a little more.

Mine reset after using ,when in use they don't go all the way down until I turn them off. Only time I noticed what you are talking about is when I used them to clear mist on my ride - quick on for a few wpies then off- when I came to a stop the autostop engaged and they reset them selves. Not sure if that's what you are experincing

No. Yesterday, I hadn't even used them all day. Did it twice while at a stop light and then again when I pulled into my driveway. The auto stop hadn't engaged during any of those times. Guess I'll just keep an eye on it.

Hello, I would be happy to take a look into your windshield wiper concern. Could you please send us over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage?

Now I see that there is a wiper motor recall. Wonder if it's related? Haven't had the issue since this post.

Hello ,
I just noticed this issue today on my car. It seems to happen periodically when driving and not having the windshield wipers on. Did anyone find any resolution for this issue?

Nope. No resolution. Haven't noticed it happen in awhile. Maybe then snuck a fix in with one of the other updates I've had to take it in for.

This random uncommanded wiper movement is a feature on some German engineered cars. With the wipers turned off the wiper motor/arm will pulse once just to rock the rubber wiper blade on to a new position. Its purpose is to not let the rubber wiper blade edge to deform in one position due to inactivity.

That makes sense, but mine is happening every minute or so without cold ambient and without water on the windshield.

Temp or water doesn't impact what I described earlier. But my explanation doesn't occur every minute. So you may have something else causing your movements.
