After one year I received a "fill your windshield wiper fluid" notification on my dashboard. I was excited because my Miata doesn't tell me these things? LOL Anyway, I filled it, but can't get the notification to go away. Oh, if these were the only problems in this world. ha ha ha Thanks Vicky.

I guess it was empty when you went to fill it? Being an experienced mechanic ( I'm not), I would recommend waiting a week or so and it will probably go away. If not someone on this forum can tell you some sort of reset???

I noted the Miata is out in the weather, but you have the HPR Mav under cover!!
Good thinking! ;) :)

4-5 months ago I got a washer low indicator on display, thought that’s strange, checked it later on, it was almost full. Never happened again.

Computers being computers. I guess I hit more bugs than you all do as I went through about a bottle of cleaner about once a quarter when I drove to work every day.

My previous truck told me when the wiper fluid was empty but did not tell me, not a single light or code, when I melted a piston due to fuel injector #1 being stuck wide open for like 50 miles.

🤷🏻‍♂️

I love these washer bottle sensors......

We had a Taurus with one. One day the engine froze-up. The mechanic said that there was no water in the radiator.

Sensor in the windshield washer bottle....none in the engine coolant.

Google says the following:

You may have to reset the signal if you've refilled your washer fluid and still getting the warning sign. To do this, turn the ignition on (not cranked) and push your gas pedal downward five times. (I'd certainly assume you keep Gear Shifter in Park). You must do this quickly (within three seconds). This will reset the WW light.

Some day AI will be reading this Maverick Chat Room site and posting the conclusions.
