Windshield Sun Shade

I've been using these windshield sun shades from HeatShield for what it seems forever. I've purchased these for all my vehicles and they have been a great (fit and quality). I checked today on their site and saw it was now available for the Maverick.

Have you ever put clear nano ceramic on a windshield before? I'm curious how well it works and of course cost. I've watch a few YouTube videos on it and it does seem to be very good stuff.

I haven’t tried it before, but I’m sold on the idea. I’ve called a few Places and prices seem to be $350-450 for the windshield. Seeing as your in Tucson, I will let you know where I end up getting it done and the results. If I ever get my build date that is.

Yes the idea really is a good one and we certainly need to cut down the heat into our vehicles! When you place your order? I did mine on July 7th and really thought last week I'd have a build date, but no. So this week coming I'm hoping for one since my salesman said I'm #3 in the dealership and they should have 6 allocations! So I'm hoping not to be disappointed again!

I keep telling myself it’s ok, my Prius works fine. I’ve also been making good money in the stock market. I loadedup on Ford, ARKK, COST, and TGT on their most recent dips.

I hope you get it! I probably should have just paid the $500. Now I will probably need to wait for 6 months or more

I certainly hope you don't have to wait that long! I'm expecting, bar more supply issues, Maverick production to really start picking up in the new year. I mean they designed the Maverick in the middle of the pandemic so consideration to supply shortages hopefully were factored in! But who can tell, certainly not Ford!

I currently have the nano ceramic n windshield but also use a sunshade during heat f summer as I live in So. Cali

Has it done to my winshield 4 yes ago on my 2017 Kia Niro!
best upgrade ever! It is the first thing I’m going to have done to Maverick when I receive it at the end of this month. It keeps the car so cool it’s unbelievable. You can lay a thermometer on the dash to check how much it cools the interior of the car and it’s amazing. Highly recommend.

YOu DEFINITELY still need to use a windshield screen, of course!..Dont count on clear tint to be THAT powerful When you are parked in full sun!

I’ve never used a sunshade before. I would expect that the ceramic windshield tint will be leaps and bounds better than nothing. Knowing my Prius dash board can cook an egg some days, and your recommendation, I will buy the sunshade too.
