Anyone having a problem with the multitude of small chips? Had to replace mine already. Small chip turned into a 20 inch crack. Now the replacement, an OEM, is experiencing small chips. Do we have soft glass? I have heard we have lighter weight glass to save weight.

I have 4 in the first 6,000 miles. They were not from large pieces of rock, etc., small items hitting the windshield but making chips. There is something about the glass, either weight, angle or?
I spoke with a service person at my dealership and his response was , "you are just unlucky".
