Went with 5 percent ceramic on mine. Got a cheap sunshade off eBay that works good. The plastic dash can get pretty hot in direct sun.

As far as what percent tint you should get that’ll be up to you and if you wanna deal with getting it inspected and risking a tint ticket. You’ll get alot of different opinions on that topic

Ceramic is usually considered the best since it blocks the most infrared, and that is where the heat comes from. You can even get almost-clear ceramic for the windshield. I didn't tint my windshield, but did get a sunshade from Amazon.

I didn't go with ceramic either myself, just due to the cost. It is more expensive than traditional tint, but nowadays there is plenty of decent non-ceramic tint with a lifetime warranty, etc. Xpel and 3M are the big names, but I am sure there are more.

The rear windows already have an embedded tint from the factory, and there are several threads/posts where people are trying to decide how to compensate between the front/rear tint levels to make it look consistent. I didn't bother and just got whatever was legal all around. You can "sortof" tell the rear are a little darker, but not by much.

I did 15% ceramic on all 5 windows. 5% strip on the windshield. I just bought the Ford accessories sunshade yesterday.

I went with 20% in the front to match the back and 35% on the windshield, BUT I give this thread about two more replies before the "DON'T TINT YOUR WINDSHIELD" people come after you, too!

You do you, but you wouldn't make it a week around here before you got a ticket for that. It does look good though. 😬

Been thinking of doing the windshield on mine but just haven't been able to commit. Not ruled out just yet though. Looks great.

My front windows I went with what is legal here in SC and with the windshield sunscreen from Amazon, it works well. I also added the window vents so I can crack them open and let my truck breathe in the hot SC sun. It sits in the hot sun all day, no trees to park it under in our townhome community.

I went with Llumar IRX on all windows. 20% on the rear doors and back and 30% on the front windows, stayed legal for Texas. Also, went with Llumar air80 on the windshield.

I believe the factory tint on the rear windows is around 20%. If you go much darker than that on the front, you'll probably have to roll your windows down at night to see anything if you're worried about seeing something without lights, like a pedestrian, animal, etc.

I went with 20% on my front windows and put, I believe, 35% on the rear doors and the back window. Windshield has a strip of tint along the top. I wanted the rear a little darker than factory, but didn't want the front as dark as the rear. It's whatever. Lol. It works well for me though. Went with some 3m tint, something in their midrange lineup, not ceramic.

Factory windows.

Tinting was one of the first things I did for mine. I got the darkest legal tint for Texas which is pretty dark. Looks great on the Cyber Orange.

Thanks for the specific references. I have the same color so I’ve been looking at how carbon gray would look. I’m on the fence about doing much tint on the front. I can do the tint waiver for MS so that isn’t a deterrent. I just want a clean look

I’ve never had much tint in prior vehicles so I’m assuming this helps with some heat and glare?
