Just had my windows tinted today so the front would match the back. Looks great for my Area 51 Lariat FE. I had the FE decals removed because they were starting to come off in the car wash. I think it looks better without them plus the tinted front windows look fantastic.

Looks really nice.

did you just get them to tint the fronts to match the back? Was the rear window (the one above the bed) also tinted through the factory? What percentage did they go with on the front?

Thanks

I'm not sure about the rear window. I don't know what percentage the tint is, I just told them to try to match the rear windows and they came out great. I got the film with higher rating of uv protection and it was only 90 bucks vs 65 bucks for the lower rated.

Looks nice! If I remove my decals I might have to do the hood scoop accessory.

I want to have ours done but worry about visibility through the tint at night.

As long as you don't go with very dark tint it should be just fine at night. I haven't driven mine at night yet but I'm not really concerned with it.

Thanks for posting the pics. Mine should be here within a week (same color) and want to do the same in ceramic tint. I have been looking into doing the windshield as well. My friend did his truck and it really cut down on the cabin heat.

Waiting to get mine done. Dealer should have had it finished before I took delivery but nay. Tint is an absolute necessity here. Aside from just looking great on the truck, I like the extra privacy it provides. Doesn't look like you did it, but I want them to add a strip on the windshield if possible. The sun is completely blinding when it's facing you, and who wants to deal with flipping down the visors?!

Recently had mine done to match the back. I notice it less at night than during the day. I really cannot tell.

Is there a specific tint or do the window tint shops know how to match it? Tit, I mean tint illiterate.

I literally told my tint shop, "please make the front match the back." And they did. I never told them percentages or anything like that.

I thought about the windshield as well. The tint guy showed me what it would look like and it covers the entire windshield. Pretty cool.

The "First Edition" is missing! Oh! That's how people know it's a First Edition!
