I have been trying to get my windshield so its not blocking my view. I realize some fogging will happen in 90 degree ohio at end of july, but it feels excessive. It seems as i can not get the windshield actually clean. I had a failed rain-x application and its been crazy ever sense.

This picture is one i took yesterday driving home.

Any one know how to stop the windshield from doing this? Thanks in advance!

mine has been similar for the last week, everything seems to be on the outside, I've been using wipers when it's not raining. I think it's just the super humid stupid Ohio weather right now?

yeah its on the outside, could just be the humidity. i tried that rain x and it caused such a bad haze on the windshield its like a knee jerk reaction to just blame the window being dirty. 90 degrees and high humidity really tough on the windshield i guess.

Use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to remove the old rain-x. Clean the crap out of your windshield again (in the shade) and reapply the rain-x (again in the shade). I use it too and always put it on in my garage or the shade.

Don't put the AC on defrost mode so much that it freezes the windshield to cause condensation on the outside.

Or plan on using the wipers.

I'm doubting if you had the air flow on just upper body it would be doing that.
While yes the AC can get it very cold in there with just upper option, I'd think you'd have gloves and coat on if it made the windshield that cold.

And no - no fogging should happen in humid 90 F temps - been having that constantly last few weeks with no fogging.
Only fogging I had (which is inside of windshield, you don't fog up the outside really unless actual fog, so wrong term) is during/after a rain where it was now 70-75 F and very bottom/center if windshield - and the auto-AC use that happens took care of it quickly.
