Why not just use a receiver mount winch plate and a pair of jumper cable clamps, to make a portable unit to keep in the bed that you can either use hooked to the front hooks with a strap or just inserted in your hitch on the rear. All you need is to bolt one of those 10,000lb D-rings to the winch plate for when you use a strap.

There is a draw bar kit for towing the XLT/Lariat behind an RV. That's a lot of weight to pull, so if you could weld on to the draw bars you could technically put a winch plate on

I was looking at doing this to my XLT Mav when I get it. I like the Roadmater setup better because you don't hav to cut holes into the exterior of the bumber.
