Airing down all 8 tires temporarily would give you another ~4” of clearance.

I’ve got (4) SureTrac trailers, they are among the best.

Good luck

This isn't one.
But
Remember: you need to run a Hybrid at least once a month.

Thanks for That information I didn't think about the Trailer and truck tires trick
It would have been a Bummer to Leave both outside all winter
This is my First Sure Trac Trailer
And I Must admit it's the Best towing Trailer I've ever had
Great quality also I've had it about 10 years so far

Thanks for the information
On my C-8 you could put it in Transport mode and not have to worry about the battery for up to 8 weeks because Nothing was Draining the battery
It also shut off the alarm
But I can't find a Way to put the Maverick into that mode
Only out of Transport mode
And Also found out How to Shut off the 2 beep option when you shut the truck off
So I will go down and run it every 3 to 4 weeks
No biggie

If I comprehend what you wrote correctly: Terrible idea to run the truck just to charge the battery. It is a 2.0 EB right? If so, purchase a trickle charger for the 12 volt battery. Add fuel conditioner to the fuel. I would rodent proof it. Bounce dryer strips work for rats. I fold a sheet over and staple the ends. Put them in multiple places under the hood but not on/near rotating parts or belts. [My experience with storing a vehicle over winter is in the California Sierras]

If it is a hybrid, my take is that as long as you can start the gas engine, that is sufficient to charge a hybrid battery. Worst case is the truck will run solely on gas until the hybrid battery is sufficiently charged. However, I have no idea what happens to a hybrid battery if stored for an extended period in cold conditions. Perhpas the owners manual addresses that - I didn't look.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience
Unfortunately where I'm storing it at we have No Electricity so I either have to start it every couple weeks to Maintain a charge or unhook the battery completely
I Don't lock the doors so hopefully the Alarm Isn't activated
As far as the Bounce dryer sheets and or Irish spring That stuff Dosen't work down here
The mice make nests 🪹 out of them
And Eat the Irish spring
We have found a Product called Fresh Cab works better 😀
And it Smells Great
I tried a Solar charger also with Limited success because of the lack of sunlight and lots of trees around the property even with no leaves it still blocks the Limited sunlight Unfortunately
But much appreciated for your help

Hi - re: battery = possibly remove it and store it in a warmer place? I just cringe when I hear about starting a cold engine just to charge a battery. There is so much wear and tear on the engine, moisture in the exhaust, carbon buildup on the valves. In the long term and worst case, a new battery seems worth it compared to the engine damge. But properly stored, and if you research best practices, I think you can keep the battery charged a better way. My two cents and thank you for the product suggestion to keep out rodents.

Not locking the doors will keep the vehicle in a ready to go state, so it will not fully go into standby. Lock the doors or the battery will drain even faster. The alarm only comes on if you click the lock on the fob twice and the horn beeps, assuming it's the factory alarm. Not 100% sure this is true if you use the door button (Lariat), so use the fob to lock.

I Don't Hear the Beep when I push the Fob twice like I do with my Silverado once lock twice lock and Alarm
So I don't know if my Xl has that option
I just pushed it once for lock
Hopefully it will be alright
And Hopefully I will Have an Empty space in My garage next year
Then I won't have to worry about Storing it ✌

Well That just Kinda Happened 🙄
I was Looking for Something with an Enclosed Cab for our Club because the Wife didn't feel secure in the open golf cart
So I Just Punched in Enclosed Cab utv in Marketplace and This shows up
Posted 5 minutes ago
I send the guy a message 10 minutes into our texting and he asks Do I want it Because he has 150 inquiries 😳
So we made the deal
But the wife Hates it because Anywhere we Go we get mobbed by people wanting to check it out
Came from an Army base and is I guess kinda rare with the Jumbo cab and Left hand drive
Most are Right hand drive for the Japanese market
Has a 660 cc motor 4 speed well 3 real gears 1 granny gear
Guy put a Lift kit on it and Polaris Razor wheels on it for getting around his farm
The Additional led lights Really light up the night
I Love it throw my fishing gear in the back and I'm off
Also great for hauling wood to the site
I didn't realize how Popular They are
I was Just looking for something Enclosed 😎
And I Kinda like Different vehicles 😉

Ah yes, XL does not have the factory alarm, unless you paid to add it.
