No Fed credit. Look at your local state or electric company for anything, but unlikely. Hybrids aren't particularly special, other than great gas mileage.

My power company allowed me to switch to "time of use" pricing where 12midnight to 3 pm was really much lower (1/3) than peek hours 4pm to 12. My plug in car is only charged after midnight. We also only do laundry in the mornings. Normally we can average 60% of our usage at the lower rates. Been a good deal. I bought my Volt used so did not have any tax credits and being retired my taxable income is very low compared to when I worked full time. I looked to day and after driving 287 miles on the tank of gas (1/4 used) it says I am getting 131.5 mpg. Of course it never figures what it costs to charge. My 52 mile charge cost is about 2.12
