Will a lariat swapped instrument cluster affect the BCM update?

I'm about to swap out my XLT's cluster for a lariat's but also my BCM update is scheduled. I could wait another week to do the cluster swap but I'm impatient and would rather do it this weekend. Would it make any difference to the tech doing my recall?

It should not because the IPC module controls the cluster and its settings. The BCM update should not affect it at all but it may be good idea to wait just in case

whatever you have to change in Forscan to get that IPC working, you should expect to have to repeat it after any reflash.

I'm fairly certain it's plug and play. Especially, if its done when the 2 clusters' mileages are equal.
