What about a set of steelie take-offs? Probably half that price.

It’s nice to know there’s still somewhere on Long Island that isn’t a total rip-off. 🙂🫣

Heavy. Or heavier than alloy wheels.

I always like having the lightest possible wheels on a vehicle.

Still the same question. Is there a problem with those alloy wheels or they're just ugly? I have enough FordPass points + FALL15% off I can get them from Ford with sensors for less than 4 steels.

I get it. Rotating mass. Plus the steel & road salt aren’t good bedfellows.

What do you think of using all my Ford points & still paying $392? Good or bad deal?

If you’re going to buy them, may as well use the points.

I have an XL hybrid on order and I planned to ask the dealerships parts / accessories dept if they have any black alloy take-offs from an XLT or bronco sport. I think the going rate on those is less than $200 depending on if they have tires mounted. The TPMS is another hassle and may cost you to have a tire shop do…. but it looks like the ones you found come with the pairing tool.

Don’t save your ford points, use them. They’re $ that you can only use at ford.

I think they are very nice looking, but heads up that you probably won’t get the 15% off because they are priced at over $1,000.
I tried to get the discount for a tonneau cover and it was rejected. I’d do a quick search for the weight difference between the alloy wheels and the steelies, it’s likely a negligible difference. I’ve seen some that are painted black that look great. Here in North Texas I see steelie takeoffs for $35 each (Craigslist).

$775 us cheap? for winter wheels? I was hoping you ha d a link to maybe 130 a wheel price. oh well. I have zero points left.

I have found steel wheels at Discount Tire after getting the lug nuts and tax about 105 a piece. I wish if I new that some of the hubcaps on amazon would fit them. Good enough look with hubcaps for winter snow tires.

They do look the same. Unfortunately they are 18" and I need 17".

Bigger wheels aren't great in the snow, when you're driving through deep snow and can't see the buried curbs and obstacles it's easier to hit your rim, curb your wheel.
For lighter weight wheels check out rotary formed alloy wheels up to 30% less weight due to high centrifugal force during manufacturing which allows less material for same load ratings. One poster installed 19" wheels on his maverick that weighed 19lbs when he checked them. Amazon showed weight at 22lbs but that most likely included shipping weight and allowance?

+1 Maybe that's cheap for OEM wheels, but it isn't particularly cheap for aftermarket. You can get better looking and lighter aftermarket wheels for cheaper.

That's part of what I'm wondering. I'm wasting $530 of points on this when there are online for $700-800. I could get them cheaper on a different website and not blow all my points on them. Although the fall $150 off brings them down to what I've seen on other sites.

USE TNE STEELIES THAT CAME ON THE TRUCK. PAINT THE CENTER LUG NUT COVER YOUR BODY COLOR AND THEN ADD SOME BEAUTY RINGS FOR THE OUTSIDE CIRCLE OF THE WHEEL. ACTUALLY LOOKS KIND OF CUSTOM. STU LONG
